I feel like every family handles holiday fashion slightly different. Some lean hard into the casual and cozy vibes of Christmas pajamas and loungewear to ensure ultimate comfort, while others host fancy dinner parties with immaculate tablescapes and place cards, and everything in between. All of these are amazing, by the way, and I love seeing every family do what works best for them. After all, it’s all about being together this time of year anyway, not what fashion level you want to take it to this year.

Personally, I have fallen into all of these buckets at one point or another over the years. Getting dressed up and feelin’ fancy, curling up in my favorite loungewear set, or just aiming to look cute and ‘put together’ without trying too hard. And honestly, I put the same thought into each and every outfit I have done. Looking casual and comfortable doesn’t have to feel sloppy and thrown together, you can find a cute matching set and pair it with your favorite UGG slippers and top knot so you can still look back on those holiday photos fondly! 😉
Depending on whether you are on one end of the spectrum, or somewhere in between, I have rounded up some fun holiday outfits that go perfectly with whatever you want your style to be this holiday season.
- Cozy holiday outfits – enter, your favorite loungewear set, flared leggings and cropped sweatshirt, or even those cute Christmas pajamas!
- Casual holiday outfits – this might mean busting out your favorite pair of denim, with UGG boots, and oversized sweater, and finishing it off with a headband.
- Dressy holiday outfits – Depending on your definition of dressy, this might mean a velvet dress with tights and booties, a plaid skirt paired with a neutral sweater and boots, or a pair of trouser pants, a cute top and loafers.
- Fancy holiday outfits – I can’t help but imagine sparkly pieces for those fancy holiday affairs. So whether it’s a full-on sequin dress or jumpsuit, feathered heels, or a sparkly top paired with a pair offaux leather pants, don’t be afraid to go for it!
