One of my favorite holiday traditions I see a lot of this time of year, is matching and coordinating Christmas pajamas for the whole family. It’s such a cute and festive way to get into the Christmas spirit. And bonus perk? The pictures on Christmas morning look extra special because you are all wearing cute coordinating pajamas. (it’s all about that photo op, right?! 😉
There are so many brands that nail these holiday pj’s these days, so the options are literally endless. And while many sell out super early there are still plenty to choose from if you are still in the market. Here are some of the things I look for in Christmas pajamas.
- Jogger sets – These are so comfortable and functional, and are usually a bit easier to get ‘Dad’ to wear, rather than forcing him into a holiday onesie! 😉
- Flannel sets – I love this type of material and look the best for me. Not only are they cute and festive, but they are also cozy and warm for those early morning present opening sessions!
- Hooded onesies – Okay, hear me out. There are some super cute versions of these types of onesies right now. I mean, a hoodie fuzzy reindeer onesie with antlers on the hood? So cute! For all ages!
- Winter pajamas – if you want to get the most out of your holiday pajamas, I highly suggest going for more of a ‘winter’ vibe than a holiday vibe. That way you don’t feel weird wearing them well into the new year. A good plaid, striped, or fair isle set will do the trick!
- Button-up Night Shirt – These are so cute, especially if you live somewhere that stays relatively warm this time of year. There are some really cute plaids and Christmas prints to choose from this year.
Which pair of Christmas pjs is your favorite and is it a tradition every year to wear yours on December 25th too!?
