It will come as no surprise to learn that I am a prreeeetttyyy big fan of Mexico (hello Mexico City, Cabo, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta!). I love every opportunity I can get to practice my Spanish, the culture is incredibly rich, and who doesn’t love a tropical paradise for a good vacation?! It’s a win all around in my book!
Since my focus has been on all things fall fashion, and we are creeping dangerously close to winter I thought now would be a great time to put together a post of my favorite winter vacation tips, favorite destinations, and of course, vacay outfits I am obsessing over! Does anyone else love to plan a warm vacation smack dab in the middle of winter?! (I know I’m not alone!)
When it comes to winter vacation destinations, Mexico is typically my go-to for a few reasons, apart from those I mentioned above. It is a fairly short (and inexpensive) flight, accommodation is affordable, and you can get the most bang for your buck in general when you vacation here. Depending on where you are coming from in the US, you can also avoid any pesky jetlag with a destination like Mexico. No worrying about getting on local time, which I love. Some other top destinations include Hawaii, Florida, the Bahamas, and several places that are still on my bucket list!
