Every year I look forward to the seasonal fall menu release at Starbucks. Not only because the drinks are all delicious, but because it is the sign of the start of one of my favorite seasons. I love fall for its beauty, relief from the heat, and of course, the fall fashion that comes along with it. What I don’t love is that these fall drinks are not always the healthiest options, and since I love to stay on track and feeling good, I wanted to find ways to enjoy the seasonal menu without regret. While these options are still a bit indulgent, they definitely lighten the sugar and calories enough to feel good about treating myself every once in a while.
Here are my favorite fall drinks, and how to customize them to help you stay on track with your health and wellness goals:
Pumpkin Cold Foam Cold Brew
Ask for sugar free vanilla (and an extra pump of pumpkin and splash of cream if you’re really feeling the pumpkin flavors!)
Brown Sugar Toffee Nut Cold Brew
Ask for a cold brew
Add 1 pump of brown sugar and 1 pump of toffee nut (with a splash of half and half if you like it creamier!)
Pumpkin Spice Latte alternative
Ask for a blonde americano
Add 1 pump pumpkin, 3 pumps sugar free vanilla, steamed oat milk with pumpkin spice sprinkled on top.
Salted Caramel Mocha
Ask for a blonde americano
Add 1 pump toffee nut syrup and 1 pump of mocha, and a large splash of steamed oat milk
Iced Caramel Coffee
Ask for iced coffee
Add 1 pump of caramel, 2 pumps sugar free vanilla, with a splash of half and half.
Cinnamon Vanilla Latte
Add 2 pumps sugar free vanilla and 1 pump of cinnamon dolce, with oat milk, topped with cinnamon.
Caramel Cold Brew
Add salted cream cold foam, 1 pump sugar free caramel, and 2 pumps sugar free vanilla to your cold brew. Add a splash of half and half if you like it creamier!
Apple Cinnamon Americano
Ask for an iced americano
Add 2 pumps sugar free vanilla, 2 pumps of apple brown sugar syrup and a splash of half and half. Top with cinnamon if you’re feeling fancy!
