It goes without saying that sandals are a summer staple in my wardrobe. No matter my location (hi, I’m Torey, professional traveler. nice to meet you haha!) I always bring a few tried and true pairs with me on my travels. There are a few key things I look for when shopping for new sandals. They must be cute, affordable, and comfortable (in that order!) and if I can check all three of those boxes, I can’t refuse!
The best part about this summer staple (imo!) is the versatility they can bring to your wardrobe. With casual to dressy options you can easily dress up or dress down any outfit. Throw on a pair of flat basic slides to play down your summer dress, or put a pair of cute raffia sandals or strappy sandals with your favorite pair of denim shorts to take your outfit to the next level.
