Happy summer!! This is one of my favorite times to curl up and read a book (or my kindle), whether it’s during travel on an airplane, at home at the end of a long summer day, or early in the morning with a cup of coffee on the patio. There’s something so satisfying about finishing a book! I’ve rounded up my favorite reads before here and here, but if you’re looking for a more updated page turner, I’ve got you covered in today’s blog post!
Before we dive into my updated reading list of books I’ve LOVED, I wanted to share my kindle which has made reading SO MUCH MORE enjoyable! And for some reason I get through books way quicker than before 😉
Here’s my updated reading list:
Wish You Were Here, by Jodi Picoult: this takes place in the height of 2020 during the pandemic and is an interesting perspective! It’s a fictional story but loosely based on real experiences and occurrences through the eyes of a 30-year old character who lives in NYC!
All We Ever Wanted, by Emily Giffin: this is a story of two elite high schoolers who both go to a private school in Nashville, when one event during a party changes everything!
The Paris Apartment, by Lucy Foley: a psychological thriller about a journalist who mysteriously disappears!
The Stranger in the Mirror, by Liv Constantine: a twisted, psychological thriller with a girl who claims to have amnesia
Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid: four famous siblings throw an epic party in Malibu to celebrate the end of summer but in a course of 24 hours their lives changed forever.
In My Dreams I Hold A Knife by Ashley Winstead: one college reunion and one unsolved mystery!
It Ends With Us, by Colleen Hoover: a lighthearted love triangle and fictional romance book that’ll suck you in!
American Dirt, by Jeanine Cummins: a novel about a Mexican bookseller who has to escape cartel-related violence
Ugly Love, by Colleen Hoover: a story about neighbors who form a relationship, with some heart-wrenching other relationships that evolve
Leave any of your favorite reads lately in the comments section! I would love some more recommendations for this summer 🙂
