If you haven’t caught on yet, I’m a HUGE breakfast lover, especially when it contains something sweet! I’ve been making this breakfast every single day after the gym for the past 2 weeks and have finally perfected it to make it macro friendly aka healthy 😉 This is a warm, satisfying, heart healthy type breakfast that is a perfect single serving size! You’ll most likely find yourself making this on repeat like me. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 banana
1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (any milk will do)
1/2 cup oats (I use gluten free rolled oats from trader joes)
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 egg whites
1 tbsp chocolate chips (I use enjoy life mini chocolate chips)
RECIPE:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Blend all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a blender until blended. Spray entire oven-safe ramekin or bowl, sides and bottom, with spray (I use coconut spray). Pour batter into bowl and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Place in oven and cook 22-25 minutes until cooked through. Feel free to top with peanut butter, berries, or even syrup. Enjoy!!!
