I know you girls have been so invested in following me along and seeing where I move each month which has been so much fun for me to share the experience with you! It almost feels like we’re all traveling together, wouldn’t that be fun?! I had a blast sharing my month in Nashville with you all over Instagram but I wanted to make sure I round up everything in one blog post for you to reference back to in the future if you’re planning a trip here…which you should 😉 This was my second time to Nashville (I visited back in 2019 with my best friend and shared where to eat, what to do, and where to take some Instagrammble pics in this Nashville Travel Guide)! This was my boyfriend’s first time visiting Nashville- and I’m happy to say he is a new country fan! Woohooo! Today I’ll be sharing all the details of where to stay when visiting and what to do for a fun few days during the weekend (or stay for a month like us) in Nashville!
Nashville is booming with energy, literally every single day of the week! Music spills out of every honky-tonk on Broadway St, restaurants are serving up warm, comfort, southern-food, and there’s tons of music history to last a lifetime! It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind city that you have to visit in your lifetime and is the newest “NashVegas”! Nashville is seriously the kind of city that makes you want to dance, sing even if you don’t know the words, and drink/eat to your heart’s desire! I’m sharing all the deets on how to get the most out of a stay in Music City!
WHERE TO STAY:
We stayed with a company called Mainsail Housing which was absolutely incredible! They are the sweetest company, which create a home away from home feel, that you can comfortably stay in for a weekend or an extended period of time like us! They have furnished rentals that are in the BEST locations in Nashville, and they have everything you need in the apartment to have a wonderful stay. Our specific unit was a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in a *brand new* apartment building called “The Place” which is right above the latest and greatest, hotspot in Nashville with shopping, retail, restaurants, and fun called FIFTH AND B! See photos above in this blog post to see our unit: literally brand new, incredibly designed, and comfortable to live in! Not only was our unit literally brand new and incredibly designed, but the amenities in the building itself were unreal- an insanely new and stunning gym (with peloton bikes), a huge pool deck with bbq pits, jacuzzi, and views of Broadway, and so much more! We loved walking downstairs to Fifth and B to grab a coffee, a bite to eat, or listen to live music while shopping. BEST. LOCATION. EVER. I highly recommend staying with Mainsail if you ever find yourself in Nashville! Tell them I sent you too 😉
WHAT TO DO:
I’ve mentioned in my previous Nashville Travel Guide where to eat, where to drink, the best rooftops, and some Instagrammable spots, so I wanted to cover some more activities you can partake in that we loved doing while in Nashville!
Grand Ol Opry Tour
Parthenon
Belle Meade Plantation
Arrington Vineyards wine tasting picnic
Trolley ride that gives you the history of Nashville + takes you all over town
Cheekwood flower gardens
Franklin- cutest little town about 20 min drive outside of Nashville
Music Hall of Fame
Jack Daniels Distillery tour
WHERE TO EAT/DRINK:
Like I mentioned above, definitely go read this Nashville Travel Guide to see everything you need to know about eating/drinking in Nashville! I do want to add a few more restaurants here that we discovered, that are newer/just opened and we fell in LOVE with! They’re all walking distance from Broadway too which was super nice:
Blanco– we ate here almost every week of our stay! Def a favorite.
Frothy Monkey– coffee shop
Superica– my favorite to sit outside on the patio + eat delicious Mexican
Emmy’s Squared Pizza– incredible, just trust me. They’re also known for their burgers!
White Limozeen– we didn’t make it here, but it’s a pink Barbie dream + a beautifully and magically designed rooftop by Dolly Parton
Hattie B’s– hot chicken is a Nashville must
Slim & Husky’s– oh my gosh this pizza was incredible! Don’t forget to order the cinnamon rolls here
OTHER TIPS:
Definitely stay as close as you can to Broadway- that’s where alllll the action is! Mainsail’s apartment right above Fifth and B was the *best* place in the entire city! Brand new, full of energy, a great young vibe, and in the center of everything. We had a little trouble with Uber’s here- just be sure to schedule ahead of time and give yourself plenty of time to go anywhere. If you do want to rent a car- definitely plan that ahead of time! We had a tricky time securing one on the weekends for little adventures, and didn’t want to take a long uber ride to the airport just to rent a car. So do your research ahead of time! Overall, GET READY FOR A FUN TIME! You won’t stop smiling your entire visit in Nashville 😉
I shared the best Instagrammable spots in Nashville before but some of my most recent Instagrammable photo locations are all at Fifth and B! Check it out!
