Oh, New Orleans! What an incredible city and one of my top contenders for our month to month living thus far! It’s typically a vibrant city, and although it was different than normal times, we did happen to sync up our stay with Mardi Gras (aka yardi gras haha). I LOVED all of the amazing culture and history there- it’s truly somewhere everyone should visit in their lifetime! Find out what we did, where we stayed, where to eat/drink, and our favorite parts of the city…
WHERE TO STAY:
We found this amazing rental company called New Orleans Luxury Rentals which are custom designed vacation rentals that are top notch quality! We stayed for 3 weeks in the Claudette unit (which was our original New Orleans length of stay) and then ended up extending it another week and stayed in the Library (the amazing penthouse with a putting green, ping pong, and full size chess board!). All of these rental units are insanely clean, immaculate design, stocked with everything you could need, and there’s even a gym on the first floor! They are central located in the Business District/Warehouse District so you can easily walk 1/2 a mile to the French Quarter and walk 1 mile the other direction to the Garden District and Magazine Street! The owners are incredibly sweet people and truly care about you having an amazing experience at their rentals!

OTHER TIPS:
Once you’re in town staying at New Orleans Luxury Rentals, you’re pretty much walking distance/a short uber ride away from everything! Time to get your daily steps in. Enjoy the history of the town- there is so much culture so take it all in and definitely book some historical walking tours! Eat and drink as much as your heart desires- it’s a sin to visit the south and not experience all that they have to offer! 😉
