With all of the craziness and uncertainty that coronavirus has brought along, I know a lot of your routines have been adjusted and shifted to now being at home. With that being said, I wanted to share some of the tips and tricks I’ve learned in working from home the past 9 months!
If you’re new around here, I used to be a 2nd grade teacher and switched over to full time blogger last June! It’s been a lot of trial and error, a lot of learning, but it’s honestly been THE BEST and I feel so fulfilled every single day! In the last 9 months I’ve learned how to work efficiently from home and how important routine is! I’ve also learned that you have to flexible, go with the flow, and adjust accordingly. I’ve rounded up my tried and true tips to maximize productivity while working from home:
Set an alarm + wake up at the same time every day.
Go to the gym, go for a walk, or get some movement in every single day.
Get ready as if you were going to work. Makeup, hair, clothes, the whole shebang!
Outline your day to be productive with to-do lists.
Star or highlight 5 of those on the list that are realistic goals for the day.
Schedule out your day and time block. This sounds crazy- but I schedule by the hour.
Establish your work space for efficiency. Home office, dining room table, etc.
Leave household chores (laundry, dishes, etc) to certain blocks of the day after 5pm.
Put your phone down when necessary.
Listen to a podcast while working.

Stay healthy, work efficiently, but most importantly, take this time to look at everything you’re grateful for and check things off your to do lists!
