I first heard about the FWTFL program circulating around Instagram, a few bloggers I follow happened to try it last year. After much interest, but never pulling the trigger because I thought I was already “healthy”, I finally decided I’d give it a try (and signed up with my amazing coach Nicki- who was the best coach + cheerleader all in one). I soon realized that what I thought was “healthy” was actually over working out and under eating. A BIG NO NO! This program has gotten me on track by eating whole foods that fuel my body, burn fat, and participating in 30 min daily workouts that all in all make me feel my absolute BEST! It’s incredible what this program did for me (just look at my before and after photos below which are 6 weeks apart), and I know it will change your life too if you give it a chance:
I feel so much stronger, less bloated, happier, more confident, and COULDN’T BELIEVE MY RESULTS: I lost 5.5 pounds and 5.5 inches which is absolutely crazy and this is only the beginning! What does the FWTFL entail?
It is made up of 3 main strategies: carb cycling, tracking your macros, and intermittent fasting! 1: Carb cycling involves altering your carb intake on specific days to prevent fat loss plateaus and keep your metabolism working at its optimum pace. 2: Counting macros involves downloading an app called My Fitness Pal and keeping track of how many carbs, fats, and proteins you eat daily. It sounds tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy! 3: Intermittent fasting is where you’ll be fasting for 16 hours (don’t worry I’ll teach you how to do this easily) and then eat between an 8 hour feeding window.

What are the FWTFL workouts like?
They are only 30 minutes long 5 days a week and are incredibly effective and strategically placed on certain days of the week to optimize fat burn! They can be completed at home or in the gym and are easy to follow along and not intimidating at all! We do a combination of HIIT workouts and strength training for your full body. I love that the workouts are different every day and every week so there’s always something new!
Can I still eat my favorite foods (like a cheat meal) and drink wine?
ABSOLUTELY! You can still enjoy some of your favorite foods, even a cheat meal on Saturdays, and you can still drink wine! This program is truly a lifestyle that will fit into what you already are doing but we’ll be more mindful! Trust me, I’ll keep you accountable and be your support system all in one!
