This time of year brings ALL the temptation with extra yummy treats, delicious drinks, and an endless amount of get togethers! I have a few tips and tricks up my sleeve that save me during the holidays while I’m trying to stay on track and not go overboard. I also go into depth about enjoying this holiday season guilt-free, because you’ve gotta remember that life is all about balance! With that being said, make sure you DO indulge and DO enjoy all the amazing food and drinks in moderation! Life is short so eat the cookie + drink the glass of wine 😉
MY TIPS TO STAY ON TRACK DURING THE HOLIDAYS:
- Drink a protein shake before you go to a holiday event
- Fill your plate with protein + veggies, then indulge in a little carbs and other goodies on your plate. Don’t deprive youself- it’s all about balance!
- Sweat it out. Do your workout in the morning to get it over with so you can enjoy the day and night guilt-free
- Keep up your water intake. I drink 100+ ounces of water per day!
Most importantly: we’re all different, all of our bodies are different, and they all respond differently! So don’t feel guilty, just enjoy this special holiday season, life is short and you can always get back on track tomorrow! It’s all about balance for me, so if I choose to indulge (like you’ll see me do frequently on Instagram), I’ll be sure to try and make a healthier choice next time 🙂 I encourage you to find a happy and healthy balance this time of year!
