If you can’t tell by the excess amount of photos I have of myself wearing these denim shorts, well now you know. I’m literally obsessed! By now, most of you who follow me on instagram know about my obsession with this specific pair of denim shorts. I live and breath by this brand and this exact pair of denim shorts! I have had mine now for 3 summers (and have 4 different washes) and can’t say enough incredible things about them. They truly are my go-to, ride or die, denim shorts I reach for over and over again! They’re WORTH every penny, TRUST ME! Anyone who tries them, friends (and mom included), is now hooked and will never go back to another brand or pair of denim shorts. They’re THAT good! Be sure to read the full blog post so you can understand sizing information…
These denim shorts will last you YEARS… and I mean it from first hand experience! They have this secret little hem above the bottom frayed edge, that won’t let the fray go any shorter (which is a major issue on most denim shorts I’ve owned). Thus preventing them from getting shorter the more you wash them! Did I mention how easy they are to wash (cold cycle + either lay flat to dry or use a gentle dryer cycle).
As you can see, these denim shorts will take you from the beach to errands, and even tho happy hour later in the day. They’re SO versatile and SO comfortable! A few reasons more reasons why I love these Agolde denim shorts are:
- the high-rise, button fly
- the length (longer in the back)
- and an all around great color denim wash!
Now, let’s talk about sizing: they’re OVERSIZED. With that being said, you have to understand that’s the style: they’re going to feel a bit “bigger” and “looser” around your waist and all over. They’re not meant to be skin tight denim shorts! So, keeping that in mind, I wear my true denim size (24), and love the fit of them. If you don’t like oversized denim OR you’re in-between sizes (order 1 size down) for good measure.
Do you already own these or are you convinced you need them!? Because you really should invest in a pair 🙂
