SUITCASE: Delsey
I have always been “that person” walking through the airport with 2+ hats piled on top of each other, and everyone looking. As of this past summer, I’ve learned a little travel tip to packing hats so you no longer have to look like a fool in the airport 😉 It really does work, keeps your hats safe, undamaged, and takes up little to no extra room in your suitcase!

Although you may not have straw hats to pack lately, I sure do have some wool wide-brim hats for Fall that I don’t want getting ruined, especially this weekend as I travel! So here’s a foolproof way to pack your hats in 3 simple steps!
- Stack your multiple hats together, smallest on the inside. Fill the open space in the hat stack (where your head goes) with soft clothes- I like to do pj’s, tee’s, etc.
- Lay the stuffed hats flat on the bottom of your suitcase. So lay the flat brim down flat on the bottom of the suitcase.
- Pack the rest of your belongings around the hats. Tip: make sure there is no extra room in your suitcase for your clothes, hats, shoes, etc to shift during flight. So your hat is surrounded on all sides with clothing, but not on the top.
VOILA! It’s so easy and really truly works. Happy traveling!
Below are some of my favorite luggage brands and suitcases I’ve come across lately that are just as functional as stylish!  I recently purchased this cosmetic case that has my initials embossed in gold.  I LOVE it for organizing my makeup, bathroom stuff, and jewelry! Just click the image to shop:
ALSO…I’m headed to Portland this weekend for a mother daughter weekend trip and am sharing what I’ve packed below 🙂 Next week I’ll be sure to share a Portland Travel Guide on the blog too!
