Collagen. It’s probably one of the most hyped and trending items right now in the beauty and health industry, and for good reason! I’ve done my research and seen so many benefits to daily, consistent use that I wanted to share with all of you! This post isn’t sponsored, it’s just something I believe in 😉

So the most important question: why is taking collagen so beneficial!?Â
- Glowing skin
- A more youthful appearance
- Joint health
- Tendon & bone strength
- Healthy cartilage
- Increased athletic performance
- Improved digestion
- Gut health
- Deeper sleep
If that’s not reason enough to start taking collagen daily, I don’t know what is! 🙂
How do I use my collagen daily?Â
- It’s up to you! I love to mix mine in my coffee every morning. It’s easy, tasteless, and gives me 12 grams of protein per serving!
What does it taste like?Â
- The collagen I use is unflavored. Seriously, can’t taste a thing! Vital Proteins does make flavors like matcha, peach, coconut coffee creamer, strawberry lemon, greens, mixed berry, and so many more.
- I recommend the “greens” blended into a smoothie, and the strawberry lemon or lavender lemon mixed into water!
Which collagen is right for me?Â
- Up to you and what you’re interested in mixing it in! I personally love the Marine collagen because I don’t eat red meat, so I did not choose to order the collagen that comes from cows.
- You can order them in a tub or individual packs which I take with me when I travel!
- THIS variety pack is a great idea if you’re unsure where to start!
Have I noticed a difference?Â
- I think my nails and hair have gotten a bit stronger and maybe longer! I think long-term it’ll be beneficial for tightening my skin too! I also hope it’s been working on my joints too because I have been pushing it extra hard at the gym with my new workout routine.
I hope this was informative, as I got a lot of questions regarding collagen when I posted on Instagram! Let me know if you have any other questions in the comments below and let me know if you give it a try! 🙂
