It’s been quite a busy summer, and I’m sad to see it come to an end, however, I’m VERY excited to end it with a bang at New York Fashion Week in NYC! I’ll be here all weekend long going behind the scenes of shows, meeting up with brands, seeing all my blogging babes, and attending rooftop parties! Be sure to follow along on Instagram @toreystreasures to come along for the ride 🙂
In the meantime, I had a TON of you reach out to me saying how much you enjoyed my Santa Barbara Series posts and used my City Guides to plan your next getaway weekend! YES!! If you are new here and have no idea what I’m talking about, I highly suggest you check out my previous Santa Barbara City Guide posts from my summer series and stay tuned for one more coming next month:
- What to see
- What to do PART 1
- What to do PART 2
- Where to eat + drink (todays post)
- Where to stay in Santa Barbara (coming soon)
Today’s post is dedicated to the best (and my favorite) spots to eat and drink in Santa Barbara!
Like I mentioned in my previous posts, I am just a girl that’s born and raised in gorgeous Santa Barbara, so I’d say I have definitely experienced my fair share of eats + drinks in this town 😉
WHERE TO BRUNCH:
Jeannine’s: in my opinion this is the best atmosphere, food + drinks included, to brunch and spend your morning
Boathouse: If you’re looking for THE best views in town, you have to go Boathouse! Eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner (all delicious) right on the beach! Dolphins often swim by in the water for a show. Highly recommend this spot!
Sambo’s: delicious, diner style food (best mini pancakes in town), and right across from the beach
Dawn Patrol: delicious create-your-own egg hash on state street near shopping
Backyard Bowls: This is a quick-on-the-go but oh so good, acai bowl and smoothie spot!
WHERE TO LUNCH:
Brophys: best view in town on the harbor; they also have very good/fresh fish and clam chowder bread bowls
Lucky Penny: the most delicious pizza with a great photo op wall covered in pennies
WHERE TO DINNER:
Los Agaves: outdoor dining, insanely delicious Mexican food
Carlitos: the best dining atmosphere in my opinion (plus their Mexican food and margaritas are the best you’ll ever eat)
The Lark: group style dining, on the more expensive side
CaDario: very good high end Italian food
WHERE TO DRINK:
Coffee Lovers:
French press: super trendy coffee shop, pricey but good
Jeannine’s: like I mentioned above, one of the best brunch places in town and their lattes are amazing too!
Daily Grind: a quick, grab and go, coffee shop + breakfast burrito hot spot
Wine, Beer, + Cocktail Lovers:
Funk Zone: an industrial area of town turned trendy; the biggest hot spot for people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s to hop from wine tasting room to wine tasting room all day long, happy, carefree, and live music playing; you could really spend a full day here
Fig Mountain: also in the funk zone, but more beer oriented; they have outdoor seating and games; you can also order lucky penny from here.
Deep Sea: the best tasting wine with the best view you will ever have in your lifetime; located on the santa Barbara wharf this tasting room makes you feel like you’re on a yacht; a must do!
Wine therapy: if you’re paroosing state street shopping, I suggest stopping in here for some frose (frozen rose); they have many indoor and outdoor games with a fun outdoor patio; also dog friendly
Endless Summer: my boyfriend and I love coming here for a drink and their clam chowder bread bowls; located in the harbor, you can sit outside and watch boats come in and out for hours while enjoying delicious food and drinks
P.S. Feel free to email me (torey@toreystrasures.com) if you have any questions about restaurants/cafes/bars/etc! I’ve been loving your feedback so far with my Santa Barbara series and would love to hear from you 🙂
