First of all, thank you for stopping by Torey’s Treasures to read today’s blog post recapping Day 3 of the rewardStyle Conference! I’ve shared my amazing experience and recapped Day 1 here and Day 2 here (see Day 1 post for more info on what #rStheCon is) and am SO happy to bring you Day 3 today!
Our morning started off with a quick breakfast burrito breakfast, A LOT of coffee, and then I was off to my very first brand meeting! rewardStyle does such an incredible job of giving us influencers the opportunity to connect in real life with some major brands, which I’m so thankful for! One of the ways they do this is by brand meetings. Basically, brand meetings are when influencers are given a quick 15 minute sit down meeting with a representative from the brand and a rewardStyle employee. This is basically my time to shine 😉 I explain what type of brand Torey’s Treasures is to them, and what I share with my readers, and they share what they have planned for their brand in the coming months. It’s a great chance to see if I fit what they are looking for, but more importantly, if they are a great fit for Torey’s Treasures and my readers. These meetings went really well for me, and I can’t wait to share the content from brands I’ll be collaborating with in the coming months! Stay tuned 😉
These meetings led us right into our incredible garden lunch sponsored by Topshop! As you can see from the photos below, there were flowers everywhere and although it was a bit chilly, it was still incredible (and the flower wall was a big hit with all the bloggers)…
ROMPER: American Eagle (less than $45) // SHOES: Marc Fisher (dupes here) // HAT: Brixton // JACKET: Old Navy ($39) // BAG: Zara (similar here)
After lunch we had a little time to venture up to the Brand Hall, which is essentially a hall where each brand sets up a booth with their upcoming product line and a representative to chat with you! It was a pretty neat experience to be able to talk face to face with someone high up within the brand and connect on a personal level. Immediately after following my time in the Brand Hall, I ventured to my last classroom session to hear Rachel Parcell from Pink Peonies speak about brand extensions, which includes her clothing and jewelry line. It was so inspiring to see how far she has come with her blog!
I immediately ran to the Install room where I had the genius tech guys from rewardStyle insert a couple things onto the backend of my site, and then rush up to my room to get ready for our black-tie finale party! What a weekend! But it’s not over yet…
DRESS: identical here and here // SHOES: Sam Edelman // CLUTCH: BP. (only $25) // EARRINGS: Shashi (only $33) // BRACELET: J. Crew Factory
Brittany, my roomie from Loverly Grey and I met up with Lindsay from Weekend Wishing and the talented photographer + blogger, Molly from Molly’s Musings to snap some photos before the memorable night!
The black-tie finale party was hosted in celebration of the recent launch of the new LIKEtoKNOW.it app! Every little detail of the night was incredible. They bussed us to a different location from the hotel where we were greeted with champagne on the 10th floor as the sun was setting! We mingled for a little under the stars and then the party moved down to the ground floor where people started to let loose and dance! A marching band surprised us all by leading us down the street and around the corner to another outdoor area where there was a DJ with the best playlist EVER. My feet are still killing me from all the dancing we did, but it was SO. WORTH. IT.
All in all, this 3 day experience at the rewardStyle conference (#rSthe Con) was AMAZING! I am so thankful to have been invited and that I attended, I learned an immense amount of knowledge, and met some amazing blogging friends that I know will always be there for me. I’m so extremely motivated and inspired to take Torey’s Treasures to the next level and make it an even more amazing place for you to visit daily! Thank you for making this opportunity possible for me, and for allowing me to do what I love!
XOXO
