If you’re anything like me, and are always on the go, but also always hungry, look no further than these amazing Energy Fit Balls! I always make sure to keep one batch in my refrigerator so I can conveniently grab a couple on the go…they are THAT good! Just wait, it gets even better…the recipe is super quick and simple to make, is made with all healthy ingredients, and there is no need to bake this delicious bite sized snack!
ENERGY FIT BITES RECIPE:
Total Time: 10 Minutes
Yield: About A Dozen
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup dry oats
- 2/3 cup toasted (or shredded) coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1/2 cup ground flax seed
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup honey or agave nectar
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Sprinkles (as many as you wish)
DIRECTIONS:
- Stir all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl until thoroughly mixed (Sometimes you may need to use your hands…have a taste while you’re at it)
- Roll into balls of whatever size you would like (Mine are usually about 1″ in diameter)
- Store in airtight container and keep refrigerated for about a week
- Enjoy!!!
